Lead Line Notification

South Toledo Bend Water District would like to notify all customers that we have completed our lead line service inventory.  The water system was constructed after the lead ban of 1988.  There are no lead, galvanized requiring replacement, or unknown service lines within the South Toledo Bend Water District distribution system.  This was determined by using the records that were available from the engineers that designed the water system and South Toledo Bend Water District standard operating procedures.

This was determined by:

1) Water meter reading, repair and replacement

2) Service line repair or replacement

3) Main water line repair and replacement

4) Backflow device inspection

5) Visual inspection
